We will be at Neptune in York on Saturday 8th September from 11am-3pm cooking up some delicious treats for customers to enjoy as they browse around the showroom.
Claire will be making her signature late summer baking treats in these beautiful showrooms showing all the various means of cooking on the AGA.
Expect Scottish pancakes freshly baked on the simmering plate and served with a seasonal compote of autumnal fruits.
The baking oven will be used to demonstrate double chocolate muffins. The cast iron ovens of the AGA bake cakes and buns through radiated heat which gives a gentle and even temperature.
Mini pavlovas will demonstrate the ability of the simmering oven to be so much more than just a ”casserole” oven. They will be served with homemade lemon curd – again using Claire’s simple traditional family recipe.
Finally, savory crackers will provide an alternative for those without a sweet tooth.
Sara will also be available to answer any questions about AGA and Everhot cookers.
