We had a great start to the day at Egton enjoying all the traditional horse classes going on in the main ring. By 11am sky resembled some sort of solar eclipse and the heavens opened accompanied by thunder and lightning! However, after an hour of down pour and providing shelter in our tent to many folks it finally stopped and the rest of the day was warm if not incredibly muddy. They are a hardy lot up at Egton and a storm wasn’t going to spoil anybody’s fun!

There was the usual amazing array of trade stands, from delicious heather honey sellers and specialist homemade scotch egg producers to agricultural machinery suppliers and vintage steam engines and everything in-between!

We took our show trailer with an Aqua coloured AGA and a cream Everhot 60 on board. We wished they had be working ‘live’ to dry everybody out. We had lots of interest and as usual did well with our textile ranges and cleaning materials.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by!
