The Aga Doctor, Richard Maggs, is joining Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School to dispel the myths behind the Aga.

Richard is a dynamic and accomplished chef and an authority on Aga cookery. As well as having featured on television and radio, he writes for several magazines including for eleven years his popular ‘Ask Richard’ column in Aga Living Magazine.

A best-selling author, he has written seven books on range cooking, including The Complete Book of Aga Know-how. He is also the resident Aga Cookery Doctor on the award winning Aga Living website, where you can ask him Aga cookery questions and read his regular blog postings.

Richard lives in Kent and travels widely throughout the UK, demonstrating how to get the best from Aga and Rayburn cookers. He has worked with Aga throughout Europe and Scandinavia and also in America, Australia and New Zealand.

This is Richard’s most popular Aga demonstration, designed for existing owners who are familiar with the basic Aga techniques. As well as recapping on these with more advanced recipes, Richard shares simple yet stylish ways to “Get Ahead” when entertaining, along with plenty of his famous Aga hints and tips.

The demonstration will run from 7.00pm and includes a glass of fizz and canapes on arrival.
