Farmhouse Breakfast Week starts on Sunday so here is a lovely pancake recipe to get your taste buds going…
Apple & Raisin Pancakes (makes 8-12 pancakes)
100g self raising flour
15g caster sugar
3 tbs milk
1 dessert apple – peeled & diced
Icing sugar for dusting
Put all the ingredients (except the apple and raisins) into a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Add the raisins & apple.
Place a circle of bake-o-glide on the AGA simmering plate and brush lightly with a little olive oil.
Drop tablespoonfuls of batter onto the bake-o-glide. When the surface is covered with bubbles, turn each pancake over and cook on the other side until golden brown.
Continue cooking until all the batter is used.
Stack the pancakes and dust with icing sugar.
