Mrs Madden Makes it into Country Warmth

Malton’s leading range cooker specialist, Country Warmth has extended its vast collection of must-have kitchen essentials and desirable accessories with the launch of Mrs Madden Makes aprons.

From bespoke aprons and pinnies to bags and cushions, each Mrs Madden Makes item is individually styled and handmade using upcycled linens combined with contemporary fabrics.

Bev Madden, founder of Mrs Madden Makes said: “ It’s so exciting to have my apron collection stocked at Country Warmth and just in time for Christmas!

“Each apron is uniquely designed taking inspiration from my cottage garden and its fabulous colour combinations.“

With quirky slogans like ‘Do my buns look big in this’ Mrs Madden Makes aprons have been a huge hit with one of the ‘original’ Calendar Girls, Angela Knowles-Baker.

Famous for creating a charity fundraising calendar with a difference, Angela Knowles-Baker (aka Miss February) said: “These aprons are such fun and I’m sure when people wear them it will bring a smile to everyone’s face.”

The Mrs Maddens Makes collection of aprons is available at Country Warmth on Scarborough Road in Malton now and being the AGA distributor for North Yorkshire, Rydale and Humberside, each slogan has a link to the iconic AGA brand.

Sara Ashby-Arnold from Country Warmth said: “ It’s great having such a beautiful selection of aprons in the shop and they create a real talking point with customers. And to top it off, Bev Madden has decided to give five percent of all profits from the ‘Do my buns look big in this’ apron collection to the Calendar Girls Charity, Leukaemia Research.”
